I really DO think that the best time for me to update is when I’m sitting up, wide awake, because sleep is as elusive as ever.
I don’t really have any fall back asleep tricks. I usually get up and eat something light so I can’t say hunger kept me up. I also try to find all the things that are occupying my mind and then I make an attempt to put them to rest. (Tonight? Jobs.)
I have a handful of fun things coming up. There is a babyshower my co-workers are having for me on Thursday, and then Brock and I have baby-birth classes this weekend. (I refuse to call it “childbirth”… children are MUCH bigger than babies.) Next Sunday, we have another fun baby shower with all of Brock’s friends.
Eventually, when I get a weekend off, I want to get the carpets in my house cleaned. I think that is my #1 before baby priority.
Without having too much more to say, Brock and I were at a wedding this weekend. Josh, his best man at our wedding, was married to Amanda. It was a BEAUTIFUL wedding, and made both Brock and I very nostalgic of our own ceremony just a few short months ago. It made us remember how much fun we had getting hitched.
I only got one picture of us from that night, and it’s NOT a good one of either of us, but it’s still cute in it’s own way.
I have to admit, I love seeing my husband in a tuxedo. Yum. Also, I’m not quite sure what is up with the awkward hand position, there, but I think I was trying to re-arrange my shirt. Oh well.
34 whole weeks! Only 40 days left to go until this baby is OUTTA HERE! I’m telling you, I can’t wait. Still no news on the name. Brock is keeping a heavily guarded secret. And I’m okay with that.
