I sent in my passport application last week.
Brock drove up to Mooresville to try to get his application in. It takes 6 to 8 weeks to process. We found out that Mooresville only does passport applications by appointment, and the next available appointment wasn’t until April 28th. This leaves, really, not enough time to get it done. So he called up to Statesville (almost an our away) and made an appointment… for TODAY. I’m thrilled that he’s going to be able to get it done, I had started to panic just a little. We’ve had enough passport ‘issues’!
What else?
I think I might have sprained my thumb playing soccer on Sunday. I haven’t told anyone or said anything, but it hurts to do just about anything – including Ultrasounds. It’s not terribly bad, so I think I’ll survive. But it does make me a little hesitant to want to play goalie if I might end up hurting my, well… my livelihood. If I break a wrist or something, I wont be able to work.
Then again, I could fall and break my wrist walking down the street. I might as well at least have fun while I’m at it.
I made another new friend! It’s really neat to meet patients that I enjoy working with enough, that like me enough to suggest meeting up outside of the office. It’s really great when their husbands get along with Brock so well. It’s fun to think that there are couples out there that we can be friends with. I’ve never had that before, and it makes me happy.
