I don’t know if you watch Scrubs. I watch Scrubs, and Eliot always says “Frick.”
Well, Frick.
Tuesday night, Brock and I went to play a game of “pick up” soccer. We both enjoy playing very much, and it’s just five bucks. We had a couple of friends meet us there, and played against the house team – the team that owns the soccer center. It’s small size, indoor-style soccer fields with little goal boxes. I was playing keeper because I enjoy it, and because I’m seriously out of shape… I couldn’t run any more. I took a bullet-ball to the leg and now there is a soccer ball size and shaped bruise on my left thigh. It looks horrible. I hope to take a picture later today and post it… even though it’s pretty gross.
Beyond that, I sprained my ankle. I went to the orthopedist this morning to try to get a brace so I could play again this weekend… instead, I got “The Boot.” I have to wear a stupid walking boot for 4 to 6 weeks. I’m frustrated because I walk a lot at work, and this is really not convenient. Far beyond that, I’m supposed to get my stupid Mini tomorrow, and I wont even be able to drive it!
FRICK!
