I want to go to med school.
It is no secret that I believe I could be a doctor. I don’t hate school… I actually do fairly well there. I enjoy working in medicine so very much, and I love being in the OB/GYN clinic. It never ceases to amaze me when I learn something new from my physicians, and I always want to know more.
It would take me upwards of ten years before I could become a doctor. I would probably head into OB/GYN because that is where my interest lies. But could I really go that long, work that hard, rack up that much debt… just because I want to? Just because I’m tired of saying to patients, “I’m not allowed to tell you, I’m not a Doctor.”? Are those good enough reasons?
I would like to think so. And I think I could do it.
On another very small note, Stardust is now my new #1 favorite movie of all time (replacing Amelie.) I will be seeing it in theaters again. It was wonderful.
