So, I try to do a post every single day, and I try to make them be something interesting or cool that has happened to me that day.
Lately all my posts have been “Poor me, I’m so sad, this is gay, blah blah blah…” and when I read them, I am ashamed.
So lets lighten up!
Today, I got to do a scan on one of the teachers in my school. We had an assignment to bring in a grandparent or older aunt/uncle so we could see what it’s going to be like to scan an older person. Well, my family is all in Canada, and Justin’s are all in Wisconsin, so I was really struggling to find someone.
I finally asked one of my teachers, Nancy…she’s just an awesome, sweet little old lady. She wrote me this stellar letter of recommendation for clinicals, and she’s all around super. Of course she said yes right away. When I started scanning, I was so nervous! It’s really different scanning a teacher. They actually CARE about what you’re doing. But she was so relaxed, and laughing and joking. I told her that we were supposed to be scanning a grandparent, and she said, “Well, I’m close enough for ya. You know I love ya.” It was the sweetest thing ever.
Christmas countdown! 7 days!
