Personal trainer to win!
Holy crap, it’s so much fun. My trainer is Cheri, and she kicks our asses. We have a fun time, though.
I guess I’ll start at the beginning. Last week, my friend Savannah and I signed up for team training at Lady Wellness. It makes it cheaper and a personal trainer, and it’s more fun because you have someone to work with…or against. Savannah and I make it a blast.
Today, we did this excercize called BOSUwars. A BOSU is a “BOth Sides Up” thing, kind of like a resistance ball, but flat on one side.

There. That’s what a BOSU is.
So you put the flat side down, and then balance on the round side (difficult in and of itself.) You stand about 8 feet away from your partner on the other BOSU, and you throw a 10lbs medicine ball at eachother, trying to knock the other person off.
MAN, we had fun. I don’t think Cheri was even counting to make sure we did enough. We just kept going until our arms were noodles. The kicker is that before you could throw the ball, you had to do a full squat. Ten pounds isn’t that heavy for a squat, but when you’re rocking around like you’re a boat on the ocean, it’s not so easy either.
Needless to say, I had a great time, and now I’m sore. Gonna go tanning and then go to the pool.
